We checked the Loon - too loud, no good group space

O'Donovan's doesn't open until 4PM

Maybe Gluek's, but it isn't very big.

NBA City is still a very viable option in my book. Daily special is usually around $10 with tax and tip. Ordering from the menu isn't any more expensive than Rock Bottom would be. The only time NBA City gets busy is if there's a game at the Target Center. There are almost always lots of tables open.

We checked NBA City too. I'm trying to remember why we nixed it...

No big deal if you nixed it. I just wanted to make sure it didn't slip through the cracks. If that place can survice until the Twins stadium is built, it might actually become a successful business. Otherwise, it's amazing that it is still open in light of how dead it is whenever I go there. Their daily special is usually pretty good, although service can be slow. They have a good walley sandwich as well.

Whatever you guys decide for the 27th is fine. Thanks for taking the laboring oar on putting this together.

I'll throw my vote in for either NBA City or the Hard Rock.

They have a large backroom but I'm not sure if they would open it to us.

Any idea what parking might be like - for those of us who won't be coming "on foot"

Parking options:

One of the best options might be if you need to get anything from Target is to park in their ramp and spend at least $20. You will get a parking voucher good for a couple hours.

There is a surface lot behind the Local. It tends to get pretty full. I believe the entrance is on 9th st S. This is the lot next to Haskell's that has all the music notes painted on the side of the building.

Across the street from there is the Mar-Ten ramp. Enter on Marquette between 10th & 9th Street S.

One block further East you will find three more surface lots and the Leamington ramp.
