Want to borrow xd40

Postby tt3 on Mon Aug 24, 2009 7:02 pm

I'd like to borrow a Springfield XD .40 service model (4" barrel) to build a holster around for an acquaintance. It'd only be for a week, I don't need magazines with it. I'm willing to make two, if you want a holster for it as well for a couple bucks.
Thanks!

I have one in 45 if that works? or a 3" & 5" in 40

I'm going to assume the 45's slide is thicker, which would make the holster looser for the 40. I'm not skilled enough to fudge, nor experienced enough to be able to say "if I take a bit off the end it'll fit the 4 inch".

Thanks for the offer, I may need to take you up on the 5" and see what I can do. We'll see, and if I find the exact pistol I'll post pictures of the end product too.
Thanks mattxd!

The XD slide has the same dimensions on 9, 40, and 45
