That’s debatable at best, anyone who says otherwise better have owned/operated both for a considerable amount of time.
I wouldn't say that. I am damned sure a Rolls Royce is a better car than a Ford Fiesta and I have never driven either.
So let me get this straight, you feel a $7,000 car vs $250,000 car is a good analogy when talking about a $400 press vs a $500 press? Riiiggghhhhttttt....... If that’s truly how you feel then so be it, I don't see how anyone could possibly come away thinking that after using it but you never know.

I love when people make statements like "x product is the best". How can anyone possibly say that when its complete personal preference, I can't even fathom the thought of saying such a thing. Dillon makes a damn fine press, but I would argue the Hornady machine works just as well. IMHO it gives up nothing in build quality & customer service, nothing in end ammo quality and it does so for less money and substantially less change over time.
There are allot of Blue Koolaid drinkers out there. I hate to toss nasty words around but it seems a bit ignorant to judge something without having first hand use. This may not be the case here, maybe you have all used both, in that case its a free country and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. The only reason I even bother going against the blue grain is because I honestly feel there is a large number of people that would be better off with one over the other, just trying to help those people out, that’s all.
So the question is,DeanC, mmcnx2, how many rounds do you have on both machines? I have 5,000+ on a Dillion 650XL with case feeder and 20,000+ on my LNL AP, I feel I'm more than qualified to at least weigh in on the subject, and remember I've never once said one is better than the other, only that the LNL AP should at least be considered, I don’t see how you can argue with that but I am constantly surprised at what people will argue about.
This was a good read
http://www.comrace.ca/cmfiles/dillonLeeHornadyComparison.PDFAlso a simple Google search on the subject will lead you to a plethora of good reads on the subject, mostly on THR, from what I’ve seen in the past two years there seems to be a real strong following growing.
Ok I'm done, we got 20 Mahi Mahi this morning and I got some eating to do!
