She works in a law office, her biggest fear is in fact the travel time on public transit, as as soon she is inside the building, they are fairly secure, her stop is less than a block from her building door. Her second biggest fear is the looney who either sees them as bungling a case, or transferring blame to the law office over some perceived injustice. (they do a fair amount of personal injury and class action stuff) When I discussed purse carry, she just said there was no way, as they are routinely examined. I believe that they lost a multi million dollar case because someone inside was tipping the opposition with information and that has made them very security conscious, to the point of dumping out purses etc on a random basis and looking for flash drives etc. I asked her about body pat downs, and she said that happens, but no one has gotten willing to get that close to her "twins" and she is pretty sure they won't. So far she does feel comfortable with the derringer where it is, says she does not have worry about it as far as concealing nor as far as weight.
She does wish that the Law regarding carry was amended to force employers to respect the permit.
