LaRue
That's remarkably similar to mine ... 'sept mine's a fluted 18in 1/9 ... chambered in .223 ... camo, knurled, vented aluminum handguard ... and I put in a two-stage Geissele (
not as nice as a JP, but I don't need to replace it with one). I may have saved $100 - $200 off that Larue, as well.
http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/manufacturers_id/3/products_id/52856 ... if ya can get it fer that price, vs. the Larue, that leaves $500 to spend on a nice trigger!

I ain't crazy 'bout the collapsible stock it came with ... it's camo ... that's 'bout all I like 'bout it. I might put a CTR on it, at some point. They got a A2-stock model, too.
I wonder how much it will cost you to get the barrel properly cut for a screw-on flash hider or comp? Not having one is a non-starter for me with the Remmy.
That wasn't an issue fer me when I got it ... more of a "fun" gun ... had no clue how much I'd love it, 'til I got a nice trigger in it. When I started thinkin' more 'bout 3-gun, I thought 'bout gettin' it threaded ... don't recall exactly, now ... I'd guess $100 'er so, to do that ... ultimately, I ended up jest gettin' 'nother AR fer that sorta stuff. Shoulda never traded away my original 3-gun AR to pay fer the Remington!
... which, brings up a good point fer the OP ... maybe one lower, and two uppers ... one lightweight fer huntin', 'nother fer bench/3-gun?
... 'course, then when ya see them $50 stripped lowers, it makes it awfully tough to not end up with two complete rifles, anyhow.

EDIT: this has come up 'fore, actually ... and at that time, and now, I'm of the opinion that if Remington were to offer that upper, alone, with a threaded muzzle, fer $500 - $600, they'd sell more 'n a few of 'em ... no less 'n two more, fer myself
