Needed: Small piece of brass stock 1"x 3" x 1/8"

I am fashioning a piece to hold in place switchable barrel on my great grand-dads shotgun / ball black powder shooter.

I have no idea where one might buy such a small piece. Hopeful a member may have a bit to sell. Please pm if so. Other ideas very welcome as well. Many thanks. Tom

Menards has some small pieces of brass. Near the screws/nails etc.

I have a bunch of shim stock but it's only 5/8" wide - if that works, you can have what you need.

I think this piece should get what you need. The ruler is 24" long. The piece is 1" wide on the bottom and you should be able to get the 1/8" and avoid the groove cut into it.

It's in Edina and you're supplying the elbow grease to cut it. The tools here suck too, so bring your own.

Besides Menards you could check Ace Hdwr or a Hobby store usually sold in shortest IIrc 1ft pieces, all I have in hand is .070 & .250
