Just came across this offering by Gun Vault. Seems like a good idea if you want quicker access to you AR rather than it living in a safe, thoughts?

Pete was a fan of putting guns on the inside wall above closet doors. If you didn't know it was there, not many people would ever notice it. A simple hanger could be built up there and then you could use a traditional cable gun lock lagged to a stud with two eye bolts (to prevent turning it out).
