Actually, I remember a few things about Jesse..........
1) He called it as he saw it.
2) He succeeded on very little money for his campaign to win.
3) He has a PTC and carries.
4) When he won, all of the local stations were shuffling papers and stammering for things to say because they were unprepared for an Independent to win. They had 2 stacks of papers, one for Repub and one for Dem, that's it.
5) He actually got us money BACK when he was in office. There was a surplus.
There was that bill a few months ago that would have extended carriers rights, Castle Doctrine, Stand Your Ground and all of that... I don't know any Reub or Dem that would have signed it, or as quickly as Jesse would have had he been in as Gov. Likewise, do you think any of these proposed bills would stand a 1/16384th of a chance to pass with Jesse in office? Nope.
I liked the guy actually. Sure beats those career politicians.

And no, I wasn't joking.
Thanks to him license plate tabs were also manageable ($99)... the list goes on.

Jesse said he'd go for President if he was ever given equal airtime. Ever notice that no one ever is other than Repubs and Dems? Sure, Ross Perot did once I believe, but he has the money to buy his way into it. You'l never see any smaller party or independent get that chance. Why not? I If there was some hedonistic, polygamous, pot smoking, nudist pagan who was running for office; I may not agree with them, but then again I might. Either way, I'd like to hear what they have to say. I'd certainly like to hear it versus the corporate/political speak we normally get.
Dynamic synergy. We need more synergy. *barf*

Maybe these bills won't pass as written. But which VERSION of them will? Any of them are an onerous place to start.
Heffay wrote:They sure are wasting a lot of time on bills that have no chance. 10 round limits for clips has no chance of passing.
