firstly (and you'll learn this if you keep repeating CCW) in Minnesota we get Permits To Carry, not Concealed Weapons Permits, or Concealed Carry License. a CCW is a Concealed Carry Weapon, or a gun designed for civilian carry, instead of a duty gun, range gun, competition gun, hunting gun, etc. a CCW (the gun) would be something like a S&W J Frame or a Ruger LCP or a Springfield XDs.
secondly, the MN law states that they have 30 days to either issue you a permit or explain why they are denying you such permit. it is not a license, it's a permit

Or are you just stating that the permit is just that a "permit" not a "license" to conceal a firearm?
I am confused now on what my permit is actualy for.
