Is there anywhere in the Twin Cities area that has metal swinging targets? Those look like a lot of fun to shoot.

They are extremely fun to shoot, unfortunately I know of no ranges in the city the allow people to shoot steel. I know for a fact no ranges around the city have their own steel targets for customers to shoot at, you're better off getting your own and venturing to a range outside the city.

Come shoot a USPSA event this season, or even a 3 gun or tactical shotgun match. You'll learn to love swingers after a while

Alhmans in morristown have steel torsos. They don't swing, but you immediately learn how much fun they are.

Last March my brother and I spent an afternoon being the only shooters on the premises. Previous to that he had only been there during fall sight in.

I am afraid to drive in there with my RWD car for fear of not getting out, but I agree...I went in December and shot in a subzero day just to make sure my pistol & AR lubrication approach wasn't going to fail me in cold weather. I imagine it is a lot more fun if it is above 20 degrees
