Reviews so far are mixed as to whether the VP9 or the PPQ is superior relative to trigger and ergonomics, but most seem to be giving the edge to the HK. I have a VP9 on order. The PPQ is so vastly superior to either my Glock 19 or my M&P that I couldn't pass up the chance to pick up a gun that is reportedly (marginally) better, an HK at that, for $600.

HMAC, I wouldn't say the trigger is "better" than the PPQ... It is nice in a different way. The PPQ is lighter and has a more traditional take up. The VP has a forward position with short take up and a crisp but firm break. The PPQ has a shorter reset.

Yeh, I've been reading the various user reviews over on M4C, including the one from Larry Vickers. I think his final conclusion was that the VP9 might be the pistol to get if you're choosing the VP9 vs PPQ, but likely not worth getting rid of the PPQ in favor of the VP9 if you already own the Walther. I'm going to go ahead anyway. I've never owned an HK, never even shot one except for the MP5 and UMP40 we used on the TAC Team. Seems like the VP9 might be a good place to start.

Anyone know if Bill's Gun Shop has one for rent?

I had helped a left handed friend wind up with a PPQ a few years ago and it has been on my short list for a long time. I see this purchase as in lieu of the PPQ. It will be my first HK.
