Anyone get a chance to check out the new version of the Desert eagle that Magnum introduced at the SHOT show? It is a 5" version that they designed this to be under 50 ounces so it can be for sale in New York. There is a couple videos on youtube displaying it.

Why do it your self today, when you you can delegate it to someone else. MLLNHD 2/1/13
The 357 Desert Eagle was always sort of a duckbill platypus, as you don't need a 4+ pound gun to shoot a caliber that small. At 50 ounces, it might be interesting, and an alternative to a Coonan. Can't see a 50 DE at this low weight, because with hot loads it would probably feel like a Scandium 357.

If you'd like to fondle one of those (the DE50SRMB the lower rail and integral brake), we do have it in stock over at Arnzen: https://secure.arnzenarms.com/product/26620 I love it - looks downright mean!
