The difference in price between the 550 and 650 is $104. The 550 case feed is $30 more than the 650 casefeed. That negates the price difference a little. The 550 casefeed is for pistol only. The 650 is for pistol or rifle with different shellplates. The caliber conversions for the 650 are about $30 more than the 550. I think you get one caliber conversion with each press.
The other thing I noticed, the 550 is manual indexing (you need to manually index the case to the next station). The 650 automatically indexes the case to the next station with the pull of the handle.
The loading rate for the 550 is 500 rounds per hour. The rate for the 650 is 800 rounds per hour. I have loaded 700 rounds of 45 ACP per hour on my 650 and that is about as fast as I want to go with the inspections I do every 100 rounds (when the primer tube needs to be refilled). I am sure both of these rates assume that you have primer tubes filled beforehand.
Either press, I am sure you will be happy.

You can find a good price list at a great local store HERE

Either way - you are getting a good machine.

How are you going load with it? Standing? Sitting? Get the Aluminum Roller handle
