And if you need it sent in, come on by. I'd be happy to help even if you didn't buy it from us.
That's a very generous offer. Who pays the shipping when you send a Taurus, or any other gun, back for repairs?

Well, kinda. I have shipped several guns by ground in the past, but then I may be a few years older than some here.I think it was UPS that created the over night policy first after they actually did have some issues with employees stealing packages. FedEx was close behind to do the same thing.

UPS & FedEx have always said it's their policy for next day air. May be a policy for individuals and something else for dealers.
But it's a law that you inform them about the firearm in the box.
Yes, as stated, Taurus pays return shipping.

the next day air thing is a pain in the butt but there is a loophole, I have always used 2nd day ground and never had an issue, it is not a felony if you dont inform the shipper. check out the rule below. also as a mere mortal i have always found it entertaining to put something humorous on a shipping certificate, you know instead of "scary babyand women killing gun", I have put down " pressure activated rotary precision paper punch" or something of the like, actually when i returned a gun to S&W a few years back i recall contacting them to check on the status of the repair and the guy on the phone remembered my label and shared a good laugh about it.
here is the law on shipping
